SCHENGEN COUNTRIES

 

The Schengen Area is an area comprising 26 European states that have officially abolished all passport and all other types of border control at their mutual borders.

 The area mostly functions as a single jurisdiction for international travel purposes

 The 26 Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

 France, Belgium and Netherlands give the standard 90 day multiple entry Schengen visa with 3 months validity.

> Schengen refers to the EU passport-free zone that covers most of the European countries. It’s the largest free travel area in the world.

 Business visa is an authorization of the designated country/countries of destination within the Schengen Area issued to the citizens of countries that have mandatory visa requirements from the Schengen Zone with the sole purpose of doing business in the Schengen zone.

 Third-country nationals wishing to visit family members, friends or relatives living in the Schengen Zone may be a subject to the Schengen visa regime.
